George's interests are wide and varied although they generally revolve around making beautiful things with technology. He was awarded a Graduate Residency at the Studio in 2008 along with Helen Bentley. During their residency, George and Helen's research focused on the development of applications that experimented with micro-narratives created from 'found' text drawn from automated Internet searches. The final piece, 'Potential Connections' was showcased as part of the Digital Futures Event at Encounters Film Festival 2008. They continue to collaborate and most recently created a tweed-clad alien robot interviewer called Cornelius in conjunction with Team Rubber and Sustrans.

George can be found writing VJing software in Pure Data, hand building a multi touch surface, working with user generated content using Action Script, PHP and mySQL, getting tangled up with his Arduino cables, creating fractal based motion graphics using VVVV, creating webbots to discover what the world is wishing for and collaborating with London based company Musion to create holographic installations. In his spare time George likes to party hard.
