In my practice I explore the often uncharted territory of dance and visual impairment and the aesthetics of choreography from a non-visual perspective, de-centering the visual in the creation of dance.

I am currently developing Half Light, a dance work using spoken word, poetic audio description and sensory choreography, drawing on my lived experience of visual impairment to inform the development of the work. It explores sensory perception and our relationship to the natural world during twilight, dusk and absolute night.
