More Than AI Sandbox
Sandbox is a tried-and-tested methodology to bring together teams of brilliant people to test new ideas with generosity and rigour in a three month R&D.Leigh, along with his collective Pyka, are on the More Than AI Sandbox as part of the MyWorld Ideas programme. They will be taking part in a 3 month creative research and development programme where they are prototyping a new concept that creatively and critically explores artificial intelligence. They are working on the project 'The Expression Orchestra.'
As a T-shaped practitioner, Leigh specialise in music production, composition, and sound design and he generalise in many other creative disciplines such as interactive electronics, hardware fabrication, UI & UX design, illustration, and motion graphics.
His principal focus is on exploring and developing new ways in which dynamic, generative, and non-linear soundtracks can exist beyond the pixel and outside of the screen.
Over the last 12 years, Leigh has developed and delivered a myriad of interactive projects and experiences working with a wide range of partners spanning the entertainment & media, arts & culture, health & wellbeing, environmental, and educational contexts.

The Compendium of Somethings - a rolling production of unconventional interactive sound and music controllers taken from his journal of lateral design concepts.
Cymeriad - a volume of books that present the audiovisual portraits of the people of Wales.
In 2015 Leigh cofounded pyka - a collective of producers who design and create technological artefacts, structures, and spaces that enable people to explore worlds of sound. Their participant and engagement branch - pyka_workshop - has designed and delivered creative education programmes for ages 3-25. To date, pyka_workshop have worked with over 250 schools and supported over 25000 learners and staff in Wales and England.
Leigh is also lecturer in Interaction & Experience Design at the University of Gloucestershire.
