MrUnderwood is a musician, sound artist and instrument designer. A hacker at heart; he can’t help but twist and develop, to find new ways of creating music, sounds and interfaces with instruments and technology. His current areas of focus include: his partnership with David Morton, MortonUnderwood, which finds him building a variety of bespoke musical instruments, his doom tuba band ORE, and his Sonic Graffiti project, which was the emphasis of his iShed residency and collaboration with Tim Atack. Sam is definitely more “Shed” than “iShed”, working mainly (and increasingly) with analogue technologies.
