Designer, programmer and computer graphics enthusiast with a fascination for things that make noise. Pete is exploring how spatial interaction and sound can be combined to create playful experiences that enable musical expression in a safe environment.

Pete has experience in product design, Unity development, spatial interaction, haptics and sound engineering. After working for many years in engineering he is looking forward to engaging his creative side.

A partner at 5of12, a company formed by former Ultraleap developers. Pete uses his experience of hand tracking and haptics technologies to bring new ideas to life.

Recent projects include:

  • Cacophony - an open source library for Unity to help designers and developers work effectively with gestural interaction.
  • Playtonik - a musical fidget app combining touch, motion control, sound and haptics for mobile devices. The experience is fun and relaxing, with physical interactions that focus on free expression and emergent behaviour.

Pete is interested in collaborating on projects relating to sound, spatial interaction, games, haptics and slime mould.
