Richard de Lancey (aka deL) is a product design engineer.

deL was a cofounder of nu desine, where he designed and engineered the AlphaSphere and took it into production. He has also worked on a number of other products ranging from Luke Jerram's pixelated sculpture, Maya, to the redesign of a toxic-chemical-free Eco Cleaning system, via 3D printed artworks and chandelier installations.

deL likes to design and make things and has a particular interest in 3D printing and CAD. He deals with the back end of the supply chain, taking product ideas through sketches and prototypes to fully engineered designs. He then takes them onto the production line in Malaysia where he currently lives.

deL is always happy to lend his expertise to small companies trying to materialise a product idea. Please get in touch at the email below.
