In this lunchtime talk creative producer, project manager and Studio Resident Prince Taylor will share their learnings and insights from delivering projects focused on leadership and success, asking the questions:

"Leaders" - Who are they?
Having spent the last thee years delivering the funded programme, Transforming Leadership for the Arts Council England, while also working with Roseanna Dias during Rising Arts Agency's Directorial transition, Prince has spent a significant amount of time up close and personal with ideas that signify 'leadership' and 'success' in the Western world.
In this lunchtime talk, Prince will uncover the insights they've garnered from their Leadership research, along with the methodology that underpinned their time as a Digital Placemaking Fellow, a Bristol & Bath Creative R&D pathfinder.
Prince says,
"...My favourite thing in life is growth and seeing what happens when we create environments that improve the possibility of the desired outcome. It turns out that this lends itself to loads of different creative disciplines (which I absolutely love). Equity is at the heart of everything I do. Making space for people is like pure joy in my work! I didn't know this until this year, but now that I do know it, I have not only a better understanding, but also a deeper appreciation for the role my community has played in my work and my life. Open Studio Fridays
From 10:00 - 17:00 you can stay at the Studio for Open Studio Fridays - join us to continue the conversation or work on your own projects. The Studio provides chairs, tables, wireless and a great space. You bring what you need to work with (laptop/mobile). Tell us what you’re up to, or allow us to facilitate conversations within the resident community. Studio staff and residents will be around to chat, answer questions, or tell you more about what we do. The open afternoons close at 17:00, sometimes with a trip to the Café & Bar.
Where to find us
The Lunchtime Talks take place in the Pervasive Media Studio, which is in the Watershed building. The Studio is just beyond the Café & Bar, turn right and then go down the corridor to your left (where the toilets are). The double doors here will be open, go all the way down until you reach the Studio. A member of staff will sign you in, and check your ticket, if you have booked.
