Wes Anderson's delightfully funny feast for the eyes is family fun at its finest, screening just in time for the Easter Break.
After 12 years of rural bliss, Mr. Fox (George Clooney) breaks a promise to his wife (Meryl Streep) and raids the farms of their human neighbors, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. Giving in to his animal instincts endangers not only his marriage but the lives of his family and their animal friends. When the farmers force Mr. Fox and company deep underground, he has to resort to his natural craftiness to rise above the opposition.
Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums) worked closely with the Roald Dahl estate on this stop motion animated adaptation of his much loved book, going so far as to pen the screenplay in the author’s very own writing shed in which he wrote his famous stories. The result is a magnificent fusion of the two men’s creative minds which will delight audiences little and large.
