Join us in the spectacular historic surrounds of The Mount Without, the gorgeously converted grade II listed church on St Michael's Hill, for an unmissable evening celebrating Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger's gothic masterpiece Black Narcissus.

The evening starts from 19:00 in the Crypt, where DJ Cheeba's specially commissioned projections will submerge us into the Technicolor world of the film.

The screening of Black Narcissus in the Main Hall then begins at 20:00. The tempestuous, Himalaya-set convent story sees a group of nuns driven to jealousy and madness. It's one of the most radiantly beautiful of all Technicolor films, and amongst the most intoxicatingly sensual films ever made.

We can't wait to welcome you to The Mount Without, the perfect setting for a very special screening of this most electric of films.

Please note the bar at The Mount Without will be open from 19:00 - 23:00.

Content warning: please note the film contains outdated practices, including negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures, which you may find offensive.
