An adrenaline-fuelled thrill ride through a near-future, fractured America balanced on a razor's edge. Writer of 28 Days Later and Annihilation, Alex Garland imagines a future in which California and Texas decide to leave the Union. Four journalists (led by Kirsten Dunst) take a journey across the country to capture the state of the union, with the ultimate hope of getting an interview with the president (Nick Offerman).

Reckoning with shell-shocked malls, riots in the suburbs and hostile fights for water in the cities, Garland's film effectively paints a disturbing picture of a society going out of control.

Please join us after the screening in the Café & Bar for an informal discussion, which will include BSL interpretation. You’ll receive 10% off drinks with your cinema ticket – so grab a glass or a mug of something and let us know your thoughts about Civil War.
