Anim18: A Celebration of British Animation

Aardman Triple Bill U

The Wrong Trousers

In honour of this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 2 Trail, we’re screening a trio of short film classics from the Aardman archives.

This is a rare chance to see award-winning films A Grand Day Out (1989), The Wrong Trousers (1993) and A Close Shave (1995) back to back and on the cinema screen - thumb prints and all!

A Grand Day Out sees Wallace and Gromit jet off for an interstellar picnic, whilst in The Wrong Trousers, a penguin with attitude threatens to steal the day, and A Close Shave marks loveable Shaun The Sheep’s debut appearance.

Come and celebrate two decades of claymation magic from Bristol’s very own globally renowned animation studio.

Screening with DepicT! short: Carpark (Dir: Ant Blades, 2014, 1min, 32 secs).
