The Curzon Memories App won the BUVFC Learning on Screen Award for best multimedia production in 2013. The app uses GPS and QR codes to trigger context-specific content about the history of the Curzon Community Cinema, Clevedon - spanning 100 years of cinema-going - from snogging in the back row to the bomb that exploded outside in World War 2.
The app was developed in collaboration with the Curzon's Education Officer Cathy Poole and Jo Reid from Calvium, using their AppFurnace platform.
