Helen is a Cross Media Producer and Events Co-ordinator, who in her own words, is happiest when getting things done. She was awarded a Graduate Residency at the Studio in 2008 along with George Crabtree. During their residency, Helen and George's research focused on the development of applications that experimented with micro-narratives created from 'found' text drawn from automated Internet searches. The final piece, 'Potential Connections' was showcased as part of the Digital Futures Event at Encounters Film Festival 2008. They continue to collaborate and most recently created a tweed-clad alien robot interviewer called Cornelius in conjunction with Team Rubber and Sustrans.

Helen's credits include immersive theatrical events, bio-feedback performance, marketing virals, animations and pervasive games. Whilst still on her degree course she was producing films for the award winning film production company Rubberductions, giving her the vital hands on experience to complement her practice led course. This, coupled with her Graduate Residency, fuelled her interest in participant led multi-disciplinary projects. Subsequently, she has gone on to be Production Manager for the Interesting Games Festival in both 2008 and 2009. Helen also collaborated with Vanessa Bellaar Spruijt on The Outside Inn, for the National Trust. The installation was designed for the Trust's first visit to Glastonbury Festival on its 40th anniversary in 2010. When Helen is relaxing she is usually spending time at home baking cakes or, more often than not, reinstalling windows.
