Engineering Reimagined
Interactive projection wall for Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery, at The National Railway MuseumTom Newell is a video designer and creative technologist. He moved to Bristol after completing an MA in Interaction Design which sent Tom off on the path of discovering and creating digital art.
He is one quarter of Limbic Cinema, a collective who produce moving-image often augmenting reality through projection mapping. Their work ranges from bespoke stage designs at Glastonbury Festival, to immersive projection within promenade theatre. They have collaborated with fellow studio residents Raucous, Sleight of Hand, Compass, Luke Emery and PECO.
Tom also tours a live A/V show with brighton outfit - Hidden Orchestra.
