Based on the bestselling book by Naoki Higashida, this immersive film explores neurodiversity through the experiences of non-verbal autistic people from around the world.

Acutely observed moments in the lives of each of the characters are connected by passages from Naoki’s writing, in which a young Japanese boy journeys through an epic landscape, gradually discovering what his autism means to him, how his perception of the world differs, and why he acts in the way he does - the reason he jumps.

Not being able to speak does not mean there is nothing to say.

Screenings after 16:00 Monday to Friday and after 14:00 at weekends
£11.50 full (plus 12% booking fee*) / £9.00 concessions (plus 12% booking fee*).

Aged 24 or under and refugees and asylum seekers
Any screening, any day any time for £6.00 (plus 12% booking fee*).

Cinema seat widths
Our cinema seats are 46cm wide, with wooden armrests on either side of each seat that can’t be moved.
