Projecting Holograms
The next seismic shift in visual technologies will be to 3D. The first three technologies (photographs, moving images, colour images) all precipitated a huge explosion of original and creative experimentation.Worked on

Millennium Constellations
This fantastic spectacle of 3D-like visuals, projected onto a screen of water, explores the way technology modifies our perception of the world.![](/studio/sites/default/files/styles/pmstudio_feature_block/public/project/2018-03-22/Layered%20Realities%20Weekend%20-%20Millenium%20Constellations%2016th%20March%202018%20%28Photographer%20Jack%20Offord%29%20-%20Web%20Res-9371.jpg?itok=pwfZz6eK)
Layered Realities
Watershed and the Smart Internet Lab at the University of Bristol explored the potential of 5G through a series of experimental events - asking artists, researchers and creatives to produce bold new works in public space.Joanie co-founded ANTIVJ and co-directed the label with Nicholas Boritch until 2010.
ANTIVJ is a visual label initiated by a group of European visual artists fascinated by the use of projected/ reflected light, and its influence on perception. By using unconventional canvas and mixing techniques such as mapping, tracking, stereoscopy or augmented reality ANTIVJ strives to step away from standard set-ups and techniques to focus on immersive in-situ projects involving projections on volume.
