Anders Thomas Jensen (Men and Chickens, The Green Butchers) returns with a darkly humorous revenge thriller which follows a recently deployed soldier, Markus (Mads Mikkelsen) who is forced to return home to care for his daughter when his wife dies in a tragic train accident. When a survivor of the wrecked train surfaces claiming foul play, Markus begins to suspect his wife was murdered and embarks on a revenge-fueled mission to find those responsible.

Described by Jensen as 'an existential drama, action comedy', Riders of Justice is a complex, brutal, sad, funny, and disarmingly sweet-natured revenge film that explores grief, fate and the meaning of life.
