Denis Ménochet (coincidentally the spitting image of Fassbinder) plays successful film director Peter, who falls hard for the 22-year-old struggling actor Amir (Khalil Gharbia) when introduced by a flamboyant diva (Isabelle Adjani in a very knowing turn) and then suffers the ultimate heartbreak when Amir hits the limelight...
