Creating Connections through the Mirrorbox

Creating Connections through the Mirrorbox

Talk

Please note: This event ended on 5 April 2024

Disabled artist Alison Larkman will talk about the challenges and learnings of I Would be Here if I Could..., which is the largest collaborative art project in the UK for the ME/CFS and Long COVID communities.

The project follows the journey of a large mirrorbox and map. It takes messages from people with ME/CFS, Long COVID and other health conditions, to the places they love but are now unable to get to. The project seeks to amplify their absence from the life they once had.

Lunchtime Talks are partly supported by MyWorld, a project led by the University of Bristol to support creative industries in the region.
