The World Reimagined Presents: Triangle of Unity Bristol
The World Reimagined presents Triangle of Unity Bristol at Watershed – an unmissable celebration of Black Bristol culture through music, film, and conversation!
The World Reimagined is a national art and education project exploring the history and future of racial justice in Britain. Triangle of Unity is the Bristol launch of Community: Becoming Black & British, a groundbreaking national documentary directed by Euella Jackson and featuring interviews with key community figures including: Lloyd Russell, mentor and community advocate, Norman “Rubba” Stephenson, drummer and dancer, Cleo Lake, artist and activist, and former Lord Mayor Clive Smith, filmmaker. The Bristol premiere will be presented alongside three additional short films curated by We Are Parable.
This project has been made in collaboration with young Black people in Bristol, providing them with hands-on experience in documentary filmmaking, research, and production. They’ve worked closely with industry professionals to preserve and platform local stories that have shaped generations.
