In this week's Lunchtime Talk we'll hear from researcher Artemis Bear who will cover how Big Tech has demonstrated itself to be a threat to our privacy, human rights, mental health, and democracy. They will also go into the many ethical, privacy-first alternatives that we could be supporting instead. This talk will cover why we need to take action and offer alternative options for cloud storage, collaborative documents, email, media streaming, social media and hardware.
