Lunchtime Talks
Please note: This event took place in Nov 2018
Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations at Watershed's Pervasive Media Studio. They normally take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody who is interested in what they do. Come along, bring a sandwich, and get to know more about the Studio community, current and up-coming projects, or residents' work.
In this Lunchtime Talk artist and new Studio Resident Eunju Hitchcock-Yoo joins us to discuss her latest project(s) and the current themes she has begun to explore in her work; space, user behaviour and storytelling.
Eunju Hitchcock-Yoo is a South Korean Artist who is now based in the UK. Her recent practice combines and explores immersive theatre with mobile communication, in the hope that it will effectively situate a wider audience between a physical and imagined reality.
She has been researching the spatial elements of venues, the communication tools they use and how the audience are a key factor in creating pervasive work of this kind. Join us to hear more about her work and research.
