RAI Film Festival
Please note: This event took place in March 2019
The Royal Anthropological Institute returns to Bristol with a showcase of more than 60 documentaries that offer fascinating insight in how communities across the world live their lives. Highlights include the Opening Night film Edge of the Knife (the first film made in the endangered Haida language), a focus on pioneering female Senegalese filmmaker and ethnologist Safi Faye, and a Masterclass with award-winning filmmaker Laurent Van Lancker. This year also sees the introduction of Short Film Programmes, and a major Conference.
Take a look at the packed programme here, get yourself a Festival Pass and discover a world of anthropological filmmaking with the RAI.
