Glastonbury at Watershed
Fri 27 - Sun 29 June
Missed out on tickets? Or maybe you just don’t fancy sleeping in a tent and donning wellies for a weekend? Either way, we’ve got your back – we’ll be showing BBC’s Glastonbury coverage live projected on the large screen in our Café & Bar over the weekend, with our usual range of tasty local beers and ciders on tap (plus nice toilets!) alongside screening several features inspired by this year's line-up.
From the extended and reimagined 2025 version of DIG! XX, featuring The Brian Jonestown Massacre, to a deep dive doc into soul-funk legends Cymande, a metafictional take on St Vincent in offbeat comedy The Nowhere Inn and Doechii’s first acting role in intimate indie drama Earth Mama (which also features a tight, jazz-inflected score from Kelsey Lu).
We’re also bringing back perhaps the best concert film ever made – Stop Making Sense. So if you missed out on seeing the crisp new restoration when we played it last year, or if you’d like to return and have another dance around to Talking Heads, we're presenting the closest approximation of a gig-style standing-room-only show we can on Fri 27 June.
