The National Lottery Open Week Offers 2026

National Lottery Open Week is a way for National Lottery funded venues - including us! - to say thank you to the players for the £32 million raised for Good Causes every week, by offering free entry, discounts and special offers.
Here's what we're offering for National Lottery players on Sat 7 and Sat 14 March 2026:
Take a guided tour of Watershed’s projection booth on Sat 7 March or Sat 14 March 2026 at midday, and discover how the films showing we show make it onto the screen.
Watershed is one of a decreasing number of cinemas in the country which can still screen 35mm and 16mm film, alongside 2K and 4K digital projection. Discover how digital and analogue film projection works, why each of our three cinemas are unique, and learn more about the individual projectors and films we show.
Each of the two free guided tours will be available to the first four cinema goers who sign up here and show proof of purchase of a National Lottery game on arrival.
Tours will start in the upstairs foyer of Watershed next to the welcome desk and will last approximately 30 minutes. You will have the opportunity to meet a member of our award-winning technical team and ask questions.
