About Time

Season

Sun 5 - Sun 26 April

Cornish filmmaker Mark Jenkin’s enigmatic and exquisitely crafted new film Rose of Nevada plays with cinematic time leaving its characters uncertain of the reality of their situation. This play with time and character has been a signature creative element of filmmaking.

Inspired by Jenkin’s new film this season brings together a selection of time bending films from Alan Resnais’s elusive masterpiece Last Year in Marienbad (1961) to Christopher Nolan’s operatic Inception (2010) via Bruce Willis’ time travelling assassin in Looper (2012) - they are all about time!
