Steph Read, Cinema Programmer for Watershed, says:
“It’s a real pleasure to be one of the regional partners for the BFI London Film Festival on Tour again this year, and we’re really looking forward to sharing with Bristol and South-West audiences previews of some of the most exciting titles from this year’s line-up.
“With a programme including new films from the likes of Kelly Reichardt, Yorgos Lanthimos, Guillermo Del Toro, Chloé Zhao and Jafar Panahi, there’s plenty to get stuck into!
“It’s great to see such strong debuts in the mix too: definitely make the time for Akinola Davies Jr.’s beautiful Lagos-shot film My Father’s Shadow, and Harry Lighton’s queer, kink-filled biker romance Pillion – both highlights of Cannes earlier this year.”
