We are really excited to announce that we will be refitting our Box Office in July which will involve ripping out the current set up and creating a new more welcoming and friendly space. It’s been a very long time since we last did any major work on this area and we are hoping to create a more efficient, pleasant, brighter, inviting environment for all our customers, audiences and staff.

We will be saying farewell to the glass screen that is such a barrier between our lovely Box Office team and our customers and audiences, service will be quicker and accessibility will be improved. You will be able to self select your own sweets 'n' treats from open displays and a new signage system will hopefully make it much easier for you to see what's on and whether something has sold out.

Whilst the work is going on we are relocating the Box Office team upstairs to the top foyer - but there should be no disruption to our service or programme while the work is taking place. There will be hoarding up in the downstairs foyer but the front doors will remain open and everything will be business as usual upstairs.

‘We are committed to continuously investing in the fabric of our wonderful Grade II listed building to ensure that it is fit for purpose and as welcoming as possible for all our visitors. In 2015 we turned our attention to the Kitchen and have been delighted with the results of that essential work, in particular the benefits of being more efficient and energy saving. I am thrilled that we can now devote some love and attention to our Box Office and reception to give it a well deserved and overdue refit – after all first impressions count!

I know that you will not let a bit of hoarding and perhaps some dust and noise put you off visiting us – we will do everything we can to keep the mess down – just remember that it will be business as usual while the magic happens behind the scenes. Mon – Fri from 09:00
Sat & Sun from 10:00

Advance telephone bookings can be made until 20:30, seven days a week. Box Office closes 15 minutes after the start of the final film.
