Based on the fabled web series from 2007 Nirvana the Band the Show, and subsequently based on the 2017 TV show Nirvanna the Band the Show, Toronto-based music duo Matt Johnson and Jay McCarol have been attempting to book a gig at the Rivoli club. But that was seventeen years ago.

Now in 2025, the duo attempt to finally get booked by pretending they're time travellers from the past. That is until they actually accidentally end up travelling back to the year 2008!

But will they manage to get back to the future in one piece? Or will they manage to mess things up for them in the meantime?

Cinema seat widths

Our cinema seats are 46cm wide, with wooden armrests on either side of each seat that can’t be moved.

We can provide seats without armrests or bean bags as alternatives at the front of the cinema if that is more comfortable for you. Please just call our Box Office on (0117) 927 5100 or book in-person to arrange.
