We have worked with the RSC Property Workshop to shine a spotlight on 12 props. Each object tells a different story, revealing the breadth of detail, historical research and skill needed to create them as well as the role they play on stage and how they interpret a designer's idea.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Prop Store is a vast, sprawling warehouse full of aisles of metal shelves. It is stuffed with weird and wonderful props from snails to sailing ships, all waiting to be reused or recycled.

This interactive exhibition invites you to peek inside a fascinating world, explore objects used in past RSC productions and hear directly from the people who make, source and use theatrical props everyday.
