*Crip is a term from disability scholarship and justice movements. It denotes a desire “to jolt people out of their everyday understandings of bodies and minds, normalcy & deviance” A. Kafer, Queer, Feminist, Crip.
Followed by a panel discussion, hosted by Florence Grieve (Sense & Accessibility), with panellists:
- Megan Belcher: Director at BDEF CIO (Bristol Disability Equality Forum) and Vice Chair at Bristol Disability Equality Commission
- Jesse Cooper: Writer, curator, and trustee at BDEF (Bristol Disability Equality Forum)
- Lorine Plagnol: Founder of the London based independent production company, Sungazer; Producer for Dope Fiend.
The introduction and Q&A will feature BSL interpretation.
