"Nice girls don't wear cha cha heels!"

Divine stars as the boisterous and spoiled schoolgirl Dawn Davenport in John Waters' gloriously trashy romp Female Trouble.

Dawn Davenport is a teenage nightmare. She's run away from home, she's become pregnant after catching a lift from a hitchhiker, and she's become a full-time criminal! All because she didn't get cha-cha heels for Christmas.

As with most of Waters' films, seeing truly is believing in his 1974 romp. We hope you have a strong stomach and a deplorable sense of humour before entering our cinema!

This screening of Female Trouble will include an introduction from performance maker, producer, and frequent party planner, Raina Greifer.
