In this Lunchtime Talk Jon Somerscales and Andrew Stone from Studio Blue Green will join us in the Pervasive Media Studio to share insights from designing their immersive installation Phycologica in collaboration with living algae. Phycologica is an interactive, immersive installation showcasing microalgae’s ability to capture and store carbon through the animating power of breath.
Through their experience design and creative technology Studio Blue Green amplify and recentre living systems creating impactful, planet-first interventions, encouraging environmental stewardship and ecological consciousness.
