Bristol Surf Cinema is once again collaborating with us to bring another great surf documentary onto our screens.

The $10 billion dollar global surf industry built on a clean, green promise has never been more popular. But surfing has a dirty secret and people are dying.

From filmmakers Lewis Arnold, Chris Nelson and Demi Taylor, The Big Sea is the multi award-winning documentary exposing surfing’s deadly links to 'Cancer Alley', which is the devastating impact of toxic Neoprene production and the natural alternative that literally grows on trees.

Galvanising a movement around it to bring about the biggest change the surf industry has ever seen, this is a story of hope, exploring just what can happen when we come together as a community.

The screening will kick off with a short intro from the Bristol Surf Cinema team and then wrap up with drinks in the Café & Bar for whoever may like to attend.

Access

Cinema seat widths

Our cinema seats are 46cm wide, with wooden armrests on either side of each seat that can’t be moved.

We can provide seats without armrests or bean bags as alternatives at the front of the cinema if that is more comfortable for you. Please just call our Box Office on (0117) 927 5100 or book in-person to arrange.
