In this utterly charming musical romance Isabelle Huppert plays a singer who once tasted Eurovision success, who meets a young lover who coaxes her out of retirement.
Liliane (Isabelle Huppert) spends her days at her mind-numbing job at a paté factory, then drinking alone in front of the television in the evening. When a 21-year old co-worker (Kévin Azais) recognises her from her Eurovision past (she lost to ABBA, by the way, so no shame in that!), he convinces her to come out of the shadows and mount a comeback - and also start a passionate affair.
