This year we lost some of the most enduring actors ever to grace our cinema screens. For our December Brunches we look back in remembrance at the iconic films from some of those stars who are sadly no longer with us but whose memorable performances ensure they live on in the hearts and minds of generations of movie lovers to come.

The season includes comedy hall-of-famer and ground breaking filmmaker Jerry Lewis in Martin Scorsese’s King of Comedy (Sun 3 Dec); One of India's finest actors, Om Puri the Pakistani patriarch from 90’s comedy East is East (Sun 10 Dec); Jeanne Moreau, the queen of the French New Wave in François Truffaut’s romantic drama Jules et Jim (Sun 17 Dec); the personification of British sangfroid, Sir Roger Moore, in his first Bond movie Live and Let Die (Sat 23 Dec); and stoic American playwright and actor Sam Shepherd in In Philip Kaufman’s space race drama The Right Stuff (Sun 31 Dec).
