Until Thu 20 Nov

A joyful, poignant and unexpectedly funny love story which follows acclaimed poet Andrea Gibson and their partner Megan Falley as they navigate life, love and mortality in the face of Andrea’s terminal cancer diagnosis.

Join us at the 18:00 screening on Sat 15 Nov for the Good Light Gathering - a special event presented in partnership with Bristol Butch Bar and Queer Death Cafe, who will introduce the film and then invite you to join them and other audience members to go to the Café & Bar and Waterside 1 event space after the screening for a chance to be together for a gentle evening of tea, hugs, soft seating, and a DJ.

Bristol Butch Bar is a DIY queer community group. They meet up on the last Tuesday of the month with an aim to create solidarity and community for Butchness - women/non binary/trans - and celebrate their joint gender, non-conforming histories together. Follow them on Instagram @bristolbutchbar for the latest meet up info.

Queer Death Cafe Bristol is an informal and safe meet up for queer humans to come together and talk about grief, death and dying. Follow them on Instagram @queer_death_cafe for the latest meet up info.
