Workshop

Please note: This event took place in April 2024

A free creative technology workshop for 8-14 year olds hosted by artist and engineer Toby Harris.

We’re inviting you and your young people to an interactive workshop to build our very own IRL video racing game.

Attendees will explore elements of video games, and then, using micro-bits, sensors, LED light strips and remote control cars, we'll experiment with how to bring those games to life - with a chance to win the racing cup!

This workshop will be supported by Tony Bhajam, Producer at the Pervasive Media Studio. If you have any questions or if there's things we should know to help you and your young people to be comfortable during the session, please email tony.b@watershed.co.uk.

Our family workshops are made possible with our partners in the Pervasive Media Studio, which are the University of Bristol and UWE Bristol.
