Step into the wild and beautiful world of Andrew and Eden Kötting for an immersive exploration and hands-on drawing experience. A chance for artists and keen beans of any skill level to become fully immersed in the playful universe of the Köttings.
From virtual reality to giant inflatables of lost relatives, from moving image pieces to detailed sketchbooks, The Everyworld is our latest exhibition at Undershed. An archaeological deep dive celebrating family, the creative spirit, grief and togetherness.
The workshop will begin with a tour of the exhibition led by Andrew & Eden, including the VR piece Tell Tale Rooms and artworks across the space - a chance to hear about the work directly from the artists themselves. They will then select a series of objects from the exhibition to take into the classroom for an informal still life drawing session. You don’t need to bring anything except enthusiasm and creative energy.
The workshop will be carried out across around two hours, moving from exhibition tour into a relaxed drawing process - a chance to see through Eden’s eyes and experience still life as an extension of their practice. With plenty of time to linger, chat, and connect with others in the spirit of the work.
