Café & Bar, Watershed
This is a free event, no booking necessary.
Relationship trouble? Choosing dinner? Look out for our Danger: Diabolik Hotline. Dial for Diabolik: the suave super-villain from the Giussani sisters’ camp 1960’s comic. To join in, find the phone booth in Watershed’s Cafe & Bar from 19:30 – 20:30 and ask for counsel from our very own agony-aunt. Warning - follow his advice at your own risk.
The screening of Danger: Diabolik is also followed by a FREE improv performance in the Café & Bar. Featuring Katy Schutte as Diabolik, alongside Bristol’s own two-prov G&T (Gemma Revell and Tara Judah) as the Giussani sisters, you can expect an amusing re-creation of the acclaimed comic books’ journey from page to screen. Accompanied by live drawings from graphic artist Graham Johnson, this is an interactive exploration of cinema history not to be missed.
This is a FREE drop-in event presented in partnership with Bristol’s G&T as part of Other Ways of Seeing, an initiative supported by BFI awarding funds from National Lottery.
