part of Lunchtime Talks

Talk

Fri 11 Sept 13:00-14:00

In venue: Pervasive Media Studio
And online: Live stream on Youtube.com

This is a free event. Tune in wherever you are, online. If you want to take part in venue you need to book in advance.

In this Lunchtime Talk Matt Dowse and Mary Stevens from CenSoF will present the ideas behind their upcoming project Just Enough AI: Developing Demonstrators For Responsible, Appropriate Scale AI Within Planetary Boundaries. Sharing early thoughts then followed by a discussion about how we navigate the future(s) that AI might bring.

We live in a Sociodigital world – a world where society and digital technology are increasingly bound together. This presents us with an array of possible sociodigital futures across different areas of life and work. While we can’t predict the future, how we think about, imagine and act upon possible futures in the present matters a great deal.
