Community Climate Days

Season

This year we have received funding from Bristol City Leap to host Community Climate Days – a series of events bringing people together to explore practical ideas, creative solutions and conversations around climate action.

We kick off our programme on Wed 19 Aug with a day of activities for all ages, including a hands-on workshop where young people can imagine and design a climate-resilient neighbourhood, a creative session making puppets from old socks, and free energy advice from Bristol Energy Network to help you make your home more energy efficient.

Community Climate Days is part of Watershed Wild and Generous – our bold plan to transform our building, reduce its carbon impact and ensure Watershed can thrive for decades to come. Thanks to funding from Bristol City Leap, we’ll be opening up that journey through a programme of free community events, sharing what we’re learning as we work towards a more sustainable future, while creating space for others to learn, ask questions and get involved.

This August marks the beginning of an ongoing programme, with more events, workshops and opportunities to connect with our climate journey planned throughout the year.
