Community Climate Days

Season

This year we have received funding from Bristol City Leap to host Community Climate Days. This will be through Watershed Wild and Generous as we are working towards reducing the carbon impact of our building. Wild and Generous is a bold and ambitious plan to revamp our building, secure our business model and grow our impact for decades to come.

This funding will enable us to share our decarbonisation plans openly and in real-time. We will be hosting regular community events to share learning, challenges and new skills. These events will include climate-themed family film screenings, creative workshops, building tours, drop-in support for energy in your own home, Earth Day celebrations and networking events.

We kick off our programme on Wed 19 Aug with a workshop for young people to create a climate resilient neighbourhood, and for them to reflect on the future of our homes and city. Along with a workshop to make puppets out of old socks, and free energy advice from Bristol Energy Network.
