Join us to design a home fit for the future with Watershed’s Wild and Generous team. Young people aged 11-16 are invited to make a model of their home, and together we will learn about how we can adapt these for a changing climate.

We will start by going for a walk around our building and sharing some the challenges we face at Watershed and some ideas we have on making our building more comfortable and sustainable.

We will provide materials and support to make a small model of your home, exploring together how it feels to live there, which rooms catch the sun, which rooms are stuffy or cold. We’ll have some fun testing upgrades – shading, planting, insulation, solar panels, rainwater collection and anything else that would make the home a healthier environment.

We will bring all your homes together to make a neighbourhood and display these for everyone to see and learn from.

Each group of young people must be accompanied by one adult, grown ups are encouraged to get stuck in too! (Adults do not need ticket).
