Introducing Saver Mondays and some other changes to our prices

Mondays just got better.

We're making some changes to our cinema ticket and Club Shed prices — and adding new benefits for Club Shed members. Here's what you need to know.

Say hello to Watershed’s Saver Mondays 

For Club Shed member's, young people (24 and under) and all concession ticket holders * - from Mon 10 April every Monday you will be able to come and see a film for £6.00, at any time of the day. 

 "Hang on" you say – "what about me? I am not on that list".  

Fear not – simply join Club Shed for £15:00 per year (before 24 April 2026) and you can access the Saver Monday deal straight away as well starting to enjoy the many more perks and delights of Club Shed membership.

Alongside this we are also making some changes to our ticket pricing. Watershed is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, a Social Enterprise and a registered charity. Like many other cultural organisations, we are facing real financial challenges, so we are making some small adjustments to our cinema prices to help ensure Watershed can continue to exist into the future.  

Rest assured we remain committed to keeping cinema as accessible as we can – which is partly why we have introduced Saver Mondays. 

The following price changes will take effect from Fri 10 April...

New Cinema ticket prices

• Screenings before 16:00 Monday to Friday and before 14:00 at weekends
  £9.50 full / £7.00 concessions  (+12% booking fee)
• Screenings after 16:00 Monday to Friday and after 14:00 at weekends
  £12.00 full / £9.50 concessions  (+12% booking fee)
• Aged 24 and Under
  Saver Mondays £6.00 (+12% booking fee)
  Tuesday - Sunday before 14:00 £6.50 (+12% booking fee)
  Tuesday - Sunday after 14:00 £7.00 (+12% booking fee)

All tickets currently on sale will remain at the current prices until Thu 9 April so if you are planning on coming to see something in April book your tickets now!

Saver Mondays 

From Mon 13 April, all Monday screenings are £6:00 (plus 12% booking fee) all day for:

• Club Shed members
• 24 and under audiences
• Concession ticket holders*

Club Shed Membership

We can’t believe it but Club Shed is turning one on 25 April 2026.

Thank you to all of you who have signed up in this first year, we hope you are enjoying your membership and the benefits. 

From 25 April 2026, the Club Shed membership fee will be £20.00 a year. 

As a thank you to our Year One members - everyone who joined us in this year, can renew for our introductory price of £15:00. Please look out for your renewal emails which will be heading your way soon. You must renew before your membership expires to qualify for the reduced membership fee.

For those of you who have not yet joined Club Shed you have until 24 April 2026 to still be a first year member and guarantee your second year of membership at the original price.

Yes, that does mean that when it comes to your renewal time in April 2027 if you renew before your membership expires you will get your second year for the bargain price of £15.00.

FAQs

• I am an existing Club Shed member. How do I get my £6 tickets for Saver Mondays?

Make sure you are logged on as you normally would be to get your membership discount. Reserve your tickets as normal – once you get to the Payment page your cinema tickets will show as £6 plus 12% booking fee.

• Do I still get my 15% Club Shed Discount on the £6 tickets on Saver Mondays?

No you will not get an additional 15% off - the Saver Monday ticket price is a flat fee of  £6 plus 12% booking fee (if you book online or over the phone). 

• I am an existing Club Shed member. How do get my 30% off Small Plates in the Café & Bar on Mondays?

Just mention that you are a Club Shed member or show your Monday cinema ticket when ordering food and the team will apply your 30% discount to any Small Plates you order. Remember, you must have a cinema ticket for the Monday to get the discount.

• Can I buy a Club Shed membership at the £15.00 price, before it increases to £20.00 a year?

Yes you can! Simply buy a membership on or before 24 April and you will only have to pay £15. Memberships from 25 April 2026 will be £20.00 a year.

* Concessions apply to Full Time Students, Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance, 66+ who have retired, Equity and BECTU members and disabled people.
