In this Lunchtime Talk we'll hear from Joseph Wilk. He will talk us through WrongMove which is video work that explores the conditions of the Greater London rental market over a year. This is done through a 3D visual landscape from a rental market optimised for profit and a desperation to find a home.

WrongMove is built using data scrapping, game engines and 3D modelling, and is a response to the frustration of infrastructure, estate agents, landlords and trying to fit a wheelchair into a home. In this talk he will walk us through the process of turning experiences of frustration into work designed to shame rental websites into action.

About Joseph

Joseph Wilk is an artist, programmer and live coding performer exploring automative forms of expression that utilise new interfaces  to work *with* alternative bodies. His experience of disability – living with pain, physical limitations, disillusionment and disconnection – strongly impacts his practice. He deconstructs, misuses, and repurposes software and hardware to challenge notions of ownership, narrative and visibility.
