Family Playtest: Games & Holograms
Thu 16 April 13:00, 15:45
Café & Bar, Watershed
This is a free event, no booking necessary.
Be one of the first people to try out a brand-new game before it’s officially released.
Vincent Baidoo, Bristol-based creative technologist invites you to a relaxed, family-friendly session to play the beta version of his first commercial game. He will be there to chat about his work, including game design and holographic displays.
Try out two versions of the game: one built for Nintendo Switch and one designed for a holographic display. It’s a fast-paced 3D puzzle game where polycube pieces tumble into a layered grid. Rotate, slide and fit them into place to clear lines before the stack reaches the top.
Why not make a day of it? This activity takes place immediately before and after the 14:00 screening of Arco.
Drop in to our Café & Bar, no booking needed. Stay for as little or as long as you like, with each playthrough taking around 5-10 minutes.
