Interested in diving deeper into some of the themes and films presented at Cinema Rediscovered this year? Reframing Film invites you to join in conversations in-person and online between leading creatives who are involved film programming, making, writing, archiving and more.

Samira Ahmed, an award-winning journalist with 20 years' experience in print and broadcast opens the strand to deliver the annual Philip French Memorial Lecture.

Archive activists Invisible Women speak to guests about reimagining what might an alternative history of cinema look like with the women in it, taking Made in Hollywood: From Sunrise to High Noon as a starting point.

Writer and film historian Keith Lodwick will explore how costume designers Gilbert Adrian and Travis Banton were central to the creation of both the character and the public image of Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich.

Dave "Herzog" Taylor and Daisy Steinhardt reflect on the history of the video shop on its 40th birthday year.

And there’s more including our closing night MUBI Film Quiz co-hosted this year by 20th Century Flicks (Daisy Steinhardt) and Watershed (Becky Sands).
