Every Wednesday 10:00 – 17:00 we are excited to welcome anyone working as a Producer or in a producing role to join us in Pervasive Media Studio.
Whatever your background and whatever artform you work in, you are invited to set up camp on a hot desk for the day. If you are an artist who is self-producing, but keen to meet producers, you are welcome too.
There's no need to book, just come straight to the Studio on Watershed’s first floor. If you aren’t sure where to find us, please ask at Box Office or the Café & Bar for directions.
On Producer Wednesdays, you are welcome to:
- Hot desk - use a desk to work from that day (free wifi available)
- Grab hot drinks from our kitchenette whilst working here (donations welcome)
- Chat informally to the Studio team and residents working that day
At lunchtime, around 13:00, any producers spending time with us that day are encouraged to meet each other informally in the Studio event space. It’s a great chance to meet other people doing similar work, exchange information and to find a supportive a peer network.

Our values

Accessibility
The Studio is wheelchair accessible.
There are Trans+ inclusive toilets. There is also one self-contained accessible toilet, for disabled people of all genders, with baby changing facilities. You can find everything you may need to know about toilets at Watershed here.
We have a dedicated quiet room where there is low lighting, sofas, bean bags and space to lie down. This is away from the general open space of the Studio.
We also have some adjustable desks for working at different heights and some stand up desks available as well. We also have a dedicated quiet desks area, which all visitors are welcome to use.
If drop in systems aren't accessible for you, please email studio@watershed.co.uk to book in. When you book in, we will link you up with a member of our team who will reach out to find out where you would like them to meet you and what time you will arrive. That team member can also arrange a time for you to visit the Studio for a 1-2-1 tour so you can familiarise yourself with our space before attending.
